Make in light to medium weight fabric like a cotton, raw silk, heavy linen. Great for all seasons too!

As with all of Tina’s designs, one or two elements stand out to make the garment unique and fun to wear. In the this case the generous bag pocket caught my attention and this, in combination with the gathered back, makes this a fun addition to any wardrobe….certainly to mine! Al always, the generous proportions don’t disappoint! I love it!

Clever cut
This was one of the first dresses I made from Tina Givens. It is superbly constructed. Boy did I have questions about everything! I am very conscious about my arms being very large, and this dress didn't disappoint - the sleeves are cut very cleverly, they appear to be cutting very deep into bodice, so my first impulse was - that's just going to show off all the wrong things. It's hard to tell just by looking at the model picture here on the website. But I was very wrong - this particular cut was perfect for balancing the top and showcasing just the right stuff. I love the pocket, and the hi-lo hemline, and the elastic band gathers on the back. This dress made me fall in love with TG brand. If you are a heavy set like me and have concerns, don't - this dress is perfect for you.
