Great Power Outfit!
I never would have imagined myself being graced with such a style a few years ago! This outfit is such an experience. So many wonderful complements and questions on this ensemble. I made mine from a striped linen of muted yellow black and red with a rich burgundy earth color linen for the pants and an all black linen skirt. For the shirt I made a black linen classic dress shirt and a huge collar to dramatize the beauty of this unique creation. The sewing pattern is so fun to make. All three pieces including the shirt took me a few hours each day for 3 or 4 days. I did about one piece a day. I am a novice sewer with some intermediate skills:-D

I am in the process of finding material for the pants. I think I am really going to enjoy them. directions look simple enough. I am waiting till fall to make the tunic but think it will me made up in ticking and light weight denim.
