I feel quite connected to my “French countryside” in this dress. I made this in a dark blue heavy linen, a very sturdy fabric, but not even that could defy the flow and airy look of this design. I left the Edges, for the sleeves and the bottom of the dress, raw; as well as, I left the sleeves at the bottom unbound. I exaggerated the cut on the bottom to Give it an exaggerated high/ low My favorite part was making the loops. For some reason, this part really intimidated me so I stayed away from the dress for a little while. I admit I’m just not familiar with that process, but there really was nothing to worry about silly me.. These loops are such a simple but gorgeous detail. I’m glad I got around to making this one.. It’s rewarding to have this in my wardrobe. This is a very straightforward pattern for beginners. Really good instructions as well sort of a must have!
