Loosely fitted shoulder, sleeves and bust, bell shaped into a lower ‘bubble shape’ with darts. Fantastic 3-D bubbles are appliquéd onto the skirt area for detail. Optional circle pocket.
We used a medium weight woven textile from Diamond Textiles, called Sandcastle. This textile is softly quilted and gives the garment shape. A medium weight linen 5-7oz, quilting cotton solids and prints, and any woven cotton. A shot cotton by Kaffe Fassett (FreeSpirit Textiles) would be gorgeous!

this dress is lovely. Was a bit to billowy for me, and I did not have the patience to fool around altering it for a function I was attending. I did, however, use the bubble appliqués, on another completed dress, and it wowed the dress. I will use this pattern again when I have the time to alter it for me
