RITA IS OVERSIZED WITH A FRONT PANEL THAT CAN BE DOUBLED FOR CUT OUTS. IT CAN BE CUT JUST IN ONE PIECE TOO. APPLIQUE AND A LAYERED CUT-OUT TECHNIQUE ARE OFFERED. WITH OPTIONAL SHAPES FOR YOUR RITA.
If choosing linen, light wool or voiles, the cut out technique works well. Please note these cut outs are raw edged unless you wish to secure them down using a satin stitch on your machine. You could also hand embroider around the edges. We share a free-motion stitch which is a lovely technique for any cut-out or fabric manipulation project, even applique.
