PLINKA PANTS

I’ve made 5 pairs in 5 days, do I need to say anything more??? LOVE THEM.

I made these on a whim about five years ago and I'm so glad I did. They are my hiking, gardening, lounging, shopping, everything pants. I've washed and worn them so much, the fabric is starting to fray on the waist band. I'm sewing my third pair today...this time a little longer. I've worn them under slip dresses and with sweatshirts and t shirts...very versatile. These inspired my sewing hobby...I would be naked and bored without them ;)

Perfect pattern for perfect pants!

The Plinka pant was one of my first sewing projects. I made two; one in black and one in brown linen. Lagenlook isn't my style...but I've literally worn these into holes...I LOVE them that much. So comfortable and can be dressed up or down. I did the ruffle on the bottom but didn't pleat.

I wasn’t sure about a digital download pattern as I’ve never used one before! Downloaded all the bits of paper then hey presto they fitted together perfectly! Really impressed. Definitely be doing this in the future.

I am so in love with these pants. I took my time in making them especially as I am still learning to sew. I really wanted to get them perfect and it paid off! I made them in a heavy weight linen for our cold winters. My family and friends are gushing over how beautiful and versatile they are... super complimentary even with a long sleeve t-shirt a coat with combat boots. I made mine extra long and really went to town on vertical and horizontal pleats. I will make several more colors and variations because they are INSPIRING:-D LOVE LOVE LOVE

I got this pattern as a free download and made it twice. It’s quick and easy and really cute. I shortened the crotch by 5 inches and added 5 inches to the leg on the 2nd pair for a different fit. I liked this pattern so much I invested in a platinum membership .
